In 2006, we pioneered the market of laboratory solid-liquid separation, improved the sintering technology of porous plastic filters, used in chromatographic analysis and protein research. Biocomma has been a leader in the market since it successfully launched biocomma® frits.
We successfully developed the sintering technology of small PE filters in advance, then the industrialization of production was completed and the cost was reduced. Biocomma® frits filled the domestic blank, exported to Europe and the United States. Now, it has evolved into a large product line.
In 2008, we improved the manufacturing technology of miniature filters, introduced 4Tip™ filters for pipette tips, to become the leader in aerosol blocking market, and successfully defeated foreign competitors from entering the Chinese market. At the same time, the 4Tip™ filters for pipette tips started to contributing to molecular biology research and gene detection around the global. Now, we still continue investing on these products, improving 4Tip™ technology, helping advance the automation level of molecular biology laboratories.
In 2009, we successfully introduced H2OStop® self-sealing technology into the medical field, and developed the self-sealing filters.
In 2010, we began to establish a production line of nucleic acid purification products, as the OEM service for some brands. Our service is including the spin columns for plasmid miniprep, midiprep, and maxiprep.
Using the superb biocomma® frits technology, optimizing the flow rate, to obtain the best purification performance, Biocomma pioneered bio-product OEM services in China.
In 2012, we took the industrialization advantage of the region of Zhujiang delta and started the OEM services of SPE cartridges to become the market pioneer and leader in this field.
We have successfully completed the platform of the frits and the empty tubes, cooperated with many sorbent manufacturers both domestic and abroad, and established the evaluation laboratory to launch the SPE and QuEChERS products suitable for the Chinese market. Now the Biocomma has become the largest supplier of OEM services and parts for SPE products.
