In 2013, Biocomma extended the application field of H2OStop® technology, and developed filters for infusion apparatus, which reduce the infection risk of intravenous infusion. The same year, Biocomma’s H2OStop® self-sealing technology simplified the structure of suction canisters / liners, cut down the cost, and enabled self-sealing filters to be used for more waste management systems. Now, H2OStop® technology has evolved to two major product lines, small self-sealing filters and self-sealing valves.

In 2014, Biocomma introduced Embed™ technology, combining functional materials with porous plastic technology (PE filters). These innovative products, which are sintered to Embed™ CPG Frits, have been used as a basic tool for oligo Synthesis. With Embed™ technology, low-loading synthesis, which is common in whole gene synthesis, can be accomplished at a fraction of the cost using traditional technologies. We are making a contribution to synthetic life. And now, Embed™ CPG Frits have evolved to a comprehensive product line, including 384-well plates for gene synthesis, oligo synthesis columns for primer synthesis, etc.

In 2015, Biocomma established its own application lab. It saved much money for customers with increasing amount of application data. We will share our test database for OEM customers or who buy our products. To better define our products, we built a new SPE brand, Copure®, which has become a reference standards for OEM services.

In 2015, by optimizing the sintering process of porous plastics filters, Biocomma developed soft filters with as 1.5-2 times porosity as regular filters. These soft filters are able to reduce the noise of pneumatic equipment and protect operators in workshops. We branded this technology as Dasang®, and introduced Dasang® mufflers and Dasang® filters for SMT devices.

2015, Biocomma introduced empty FPLC columns, with industry-leading pressure limits.

In 2016, Biocomma optimized the material of nucleic acid extraction, including high loading silica membrane and SpinFlow™ membrane, whereby revamped our nucleic acid purification spin columns successfully. The adsorption of nucleic acids with the high loading silica membrane increased 1.5-2 times, and SpinFlow™ high speed centrifuge membrane made purification columns can be tolerable with up to 12,000 rmp centrifugation. By advancing the applications of research into industrialized applications, we are contributing to health of human beings.

In 2016, Biocomma introduced filters for water filtration systems.

In 2017, Biocomma introduced Copure® filters for water pitchers. By combining activated carbon processing technology with PE filter technology, we developed low-cost Copure® filters for water pitchers, enabling more people to drink healthier water.

In 2017, Biocomma introduced filters for oxygen concentritors and humidifiers, further extending the product line of medical filters.
